About IISc Bangalore

Undergraduate Admission: BSc (Research)
For the Bachelor of Science (Research) program, admission is based on scores from:

- JEE Main
- NEET
There is no separate IISc entrance test for undergraduate admission.
Postgraduate Admission: MTech, MDes, MMath
- GATE — primary route for MTech admission
- CEED — for MDes programs
- IISc may conduct additional interviews or written tests after shortlisting
Research Programs: PhD & Integrated PhD
Admissions typically require scores from:
- GATE
- CSIR NET
- UGC NET
- JAM — for science fields
Followed by a written test (sometimes) and a personal interview.
